Terms of Services
The terms that apply to the AutoClara website, its forms and any account opened through it.
Effective August 2026
Acceptance of These Terms
These terms govern the use of the AutoClara website and every form, account and message made available through it. Using the site indicates agreement with what is written here.
If any part of these terms is unacceptable, the appropriate course is to stop using the site. Continued use after a revision has been published counts as acceptance of the revised version.
Who May Use This Site
The site is intended for residents of the United States who are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement in the state where they live.
Access is not offered to anyone barred from receiving services under applicable law, and accounts opened on behalf of another person without authority may be closed without notice.
What the Information Is and Is Not
Material published on this site describes how auto insurance coverage generally works. It is written to make policy language easier to follow.
It is not a quote, not an offer of coverage, and not a promise that any particular policy will be issued or that a claim will be paid. Only the policy documents issued by an insurer set out binding terms.
Accounts and Security
An account requires accurate registration details and a password that is kept private. Responsibility for activity carried out under an account rests with the account holder.
Suspected unauthorized access should be reported using the contact details below so the account can be secured.
Submissions and Accuracy
Documents, figures and descriptions submitted through the site are taken at face value.
Guidance given in response reflects what was supplied. Where the underlying information is incomplete or inaccurate, the response will be too, and no responsibility is accepted for outcomes that follow from that.
Communications and Consent
Registration includes a set of consent options covering text messages and phone contact. Those options are recorded as they were selected.
- Service messages relate to a submitted request and continue while that request is open
- Marketing messages may be stopped at any time by replying STOP
- Replying HELP returns assistance information
- Standard message and data rates set by a mobile carrier may apply
Acceptable Use
The site may be used for personal, non commercial purposes connected with understanding auto insurance coverage.
- No attempt to interfere with, probe or overload the site or its systems
- No automated collection of content or of information about other users
- No submission of material that is unlawful, misleading or belongs to someone else
- No use of the site to impersonate another person or entity
Intellectual Property
Text, layout, images, code and the AutoClara name and mark are owned or licensed for use on this site and are protected by applicable law.
Content may be read and printed for personal reference. Republishing, redistributing or building a competing service from that material requires written permission.
Links to Other Sites
Links to insurers, regulators and other outside resources are provided as a convenience.
Those sites operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and their content is not reviewed, endorsed or controlled here.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The site and its content are provided as they stand, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied.
No promise is made that the site will be uninterrupted, free of error, or that any figure or explanation shown on it will suit a particular situation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, liability is excluded for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of this site or from reliance on anything published on it.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the smallest amount permitted by applicable law.
Indemnity
Using the site in breach of these terms, or in breach of the law, may create claims by third parties.
The user agrees to cover the costs, damages and reasonable legal fees that arise from such claims to the extent they follow from that use.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Disputes that cannot be settled informally will be resolved as set out in the arbitration agreement accepted at registration, and any remaining matter falls to the courts serving that state.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated so that they continue to reflect how the site works and what the law requires.
The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect, and reviewing it from time to time is recommended.
